Mothers Day weekend in State College, PA

This weekend we were off road tripping to State College for Mother's Day weekend. Tommy was so excited to see his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. He stayed very busy the whole time and didn't do much sleeping as he was too worried that he might miss something in the process. He played out in the yard with his Gigi roaming through the gardens and playing soccer. He really had a great time.

I pointed out some ants to him and then he decided to follow it around for as long as he could. Just being a little boy.

He lead Gigi through her gardens and they marched along the stepping stones.

We then went to pick up his Uncle John Heim cousins and we went to Sunset park. I decided to nab this moment before they ran!!!

Tommy wanted to do everything the big kids were doing. Although he needed a little assistance he still had fun!

After the park we all went to meet the men at dinner. They had a big afternoon of golf. It was the John Daily Mothers Day Invitational, chock full of drinking and mullets. This is the first of the Decathalon events that will go on over the summer, next is tricycle jousting. Below Tommy sports one of the JDMDI mullets.
Saturday was a barbeque out on John's farm. We surpised Gigi with a family portrait complements of Heidi Lynne photography. I think she was pretty excited. The kids had a blast playing around the yard and in Uncle John's "Heartbreak Island," complete with a beach, pool and tiki bar!

Thank you Aunt Robin for your fine photography skills. THis is a rare photo in our household.

Uncle John is leaving for bike week today so his bikes were out getting ready to load up on the trailer. Tommy took the opportunity to climb on and check out the equipment. He said that it wasn't working so Uncle John turned it on for him and revved the engine. Tommy wasn't a huge fan of that!

Walker wanted to get in on the action too!
The day was winding down and Tommy obviously needed some relaxation time. Walker was still ready to play!

Okay enough rest, what's next momma!
All in all we had a great weekend in State College. There are plenty more pictures but I am done!!!
