Endless afternoons of fun and sun

Tommy and Heidi have been super active little ones these last few weeks. Having their cousin Samantha around has been a joy for them, however she did leave yesterday and Tommy came out of school today and asked me where Sam was. I told him that she had to go home to be with her family and he responded with, "I miss her." It was a great three weeks with her, as I said, we miss her already.
So last weekend we went to Tommy's friend Sophia's 3rd birthday party. Fortunately, it was at a place where we could bring out boat so we were off like a heard of turtles to a pool party. Tommy is really into driving anything. Cars, golf carts, boats what have you, lets remember these pieces of machinerty all being adult size, not T-pants size. He is such a little boy:) Might I add that Tommy has developed a new love for Coldplay and asks me to play Viva La Vida over and over again, I happily oblige.

Tommy was sure to get front and center for the cutting of the cake. He couldn't wait to dig in to the Princess castle. He did let me know that the cake was for girls but he was still going to eat some. Miss Heidi Mouse just sat back and watched the chaos of the kids and smiled, per the usual. She continues to get a little more expressive with each passing day. She giggles at the dog and peek-a-boo and the ever exciting "Yeah Heidi," she is a dream:)

Clearly exhausted from an afternoon in the sun the mouse racked out and drooled on my shoulder, the best kind of drool might I add.
Sunday afternoon the Aunt Frances crew came down to reclaim their sister. Everyone was excited to reunite, and Tommy was jazzed to have his cousins to play with. They stayed up until 10 watching Bee Movie and wow was Tommy a joy the next day b/c of that-NOT.
Monday was a day at the beach. The boys were not on their A game as they were under rested and over played.
Cohlton however was quite happy to be soaking in all of the fun.
Aunt Franny pants stayed under the umbrella with her double don't talk to me attire on. Heidi was happy to join her. We have found that the mouse is not all that fond of the beach, especially the sand so it makes for difficulties while trying to build castles and dig ditches.
We decided to go out and grab some grub, below me actually clean and Heidi looking like a precious little sunflower.

The two gorgeous cousins:)

We are off to DeBordieu for another week so we will have all sorts of fantastic shots of the kids from our continued hedonistic summer.
