Hiking and Boating and Sit and Spin. Does it get any better than that!!!

Gigi stayed through the weekend to play so we took advantage of fun with the geeg. We set out for a hike Saturday morning at the local state park. It was a great idea until we got swarmed by mosquitos. (Really it was mostly Fred). Anyway, Tommy kept yelling "Skeeters are catching me," and running down the trails so by the time the 4 miles were up he was spent, as was the mouse. See below. And he is off like a rocket!

Heidi was super excited to be out in the fresh air. It didn't last long as she passed out about 30 minutes into the hike.

Tommy said he needed a "break." Gigi happily obliged.

Gigi and I got a couple of free hours to have some girlie time while Fred stayed back and played with the kids. They had a blast with their daddy and possibly even more fun sharing the sit and spin.

This morning was the boat ride to brunch. The waters were a little choppy and a little shallow. Fred may have had to get out of the boat on to the sand bar to push back into deeper waters. It was an adventure to say the least.
