Tommy's First Hair Cut

Tommy went for his first hair cut this morning!!! We were very unsure of how it would go as we have done our own snipping here and there on him and that has never really been all that successful. We came armed with Dum Dum Lollipops just in case. But as you can see we needed no diversions; he was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed turning on the tools, playing with combs and then finally being rewarded by looking so cute! All in all it was quite a great morning for the little big man!

Tommy has spent the last week on the road and wanted to share some of his many adventures in the long summer of travels. First was the dip in the new pool at our house in VA. Tommy took quite a liking to the pool and went straight for it even if mommy and daddy weren't in. Fences are soon to come!


We spent very little time inside the new house as our furniture is still residing in RI. However, daddy and Tommy found matching spots with a matching seated position and a similar love for the bottle!




Tommy and mommy then ventured on to DC and then to Maryland where we got to spend some time with Aunt Franny pants and cousins.

Tommy managed to avoid the stairs at the park and opted to walk up the slide...



Tommy enjoyed his time with his cousins and thoroughly loved the park!

Weekend at Pop's and Gigi's

The Egerer traveling band ventured to State College this weekend to kick off their summer of excessive traveling. Tommy made himself right at home when he found his mommy's old hiding place, the room under the stairs. Mommy seems to remember it as a dirty, dank rat infested hole that no one would ever want to go into. My how times have changed, see above.







Finally, Tommy was overjoyed to spend time with his cousins. All three of his John Heim cousins, Svanna, Brooke and Ben kept Tommy entertained and in great spirits. It was nice to hear him laugh with his family:) FYI, Mommy didn't have any fun this weekend...
