Zoo with the Grand Master Geeg

Here he is posing for his senior portrait. He is still not quite there, he didn't cross his arms at his chest. Good thing we have 15 years to practice!

Gigi came in town for the week to keep us company while daddy was out of town for work. We were quite busy, with the zoo and beach and swimming lessons. Tommy had an absolute blast with his Gigi. He already misses her and she only just left this morning. Here they are checking out the tiger at the zoo.

Tommy was interested in the animals for a few minutes then he was all about running around on all of the paths. The animals were lame at that point.

I am pretty sure he is checking out the elephants here.

Tommy thought it was important to stop and take time to smell the flowers...

Barbeques, Beaches and Baths

The Gates clan was over on Wednesday evening for a brief stint of golf and play. The boys got to take a tubby after a long days play. Tommy still is working on the sharing thing. Notice the hairy eyeball that he is giving baby Nicky for chewing on his toy!
Last night we went over to our friends Scott and Kellie's. We had a Bar-Be-Que and played out on the dock by the water. Daddy heard the ice cream truck while we were out back to we ran to the front so Tommy could have his first ice cream truck experience. (It was my first too)!

He went with the chocolate eclair.
Then shared some with Daddy.
Tommy was grabbing any hand that would take him out to the dock to play. This was Miss Heather's turn.
And Daddy's turn.
Mommy's turn. We discussed the "wa wa" and boats for quite some time. He loves the water which is a little un-nerving at times but we are going to do some infant water safety courses starting today so that make me feel a little better.

As if he didn't have enough sweets with the eclair he got a chocolate chip cookie that I had just made fresh out of the oven before we went out for the barbeque. (Sorry these are out of order)!
Notice the smile below, and it is not from the enjoyment of the cookie it was because he was ripping some serious gas and he thought it was funny. Apple doesn't fall from the tree. He proclaimed, "Tommy fart!"

That late morning we hit the beach over off of Sandbridge road for about an hour. It was an amazingly gorgeous day so we absolutely had to take advantage of it. He did a lot of playing in the sand and hit the FREEZING water with just his feet for a few seconds. He also toppled in when a wave caught him unexpectedly, he didn't like that one so much. The water really was cold.

I think Tommy hit daddy right in the satchel, which I can assure you Fred wasn't too happy about!!! Tommy likes to rough house with his daddy. It is good times for all even the spectators!

Catching some fish and playing with babies

Tommy did some fishing Saturday afternoon with Daddy and our buddy Scott. Scott caught a fish and let Tommy reel it in. Daddy in turn, (who by the way has yet to catch a fish in the time that we have lived here), showed Tommy how to pose appropriately with his victory hooked guppy. He was quite pleased with himself!

Tommy got to play with Nicky Gates on Sunday as the Gates family was visiting and celebrating Lori's birthday. As you can see Tommy is responding less and less to the camera and much more enthralled with the t.v. It is getting old. Nicky however hams it up for the camera like Tommy used to.

It's almost time for the Easter Bunny! Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter from the Egerer's and our crazy Washingtonian's!!! What a weekend! We all had a blast especially Tommy! He was overindulged to the fullest extent. He got to play and run around nakies and eat chocolate and find eggs. It was such fun. Auntie Meg helped Tommy dye the brown eggs a little more brown. I failed to get white eggs. Oops.
Auntie Meg also liked to undress Tommy so here we get a little of his man boy chest!

More love and kisses from Auntie Meg!
Lunch with Mike!
Easter egg hunting with Uncle Scott.
He found one egg opened it and went in for the kill on the green Jellybean then immediately spit it out. He had more work to do!
A so subtle hiding place right on top of the gazing globe or as Aunt Kevin refers to it the "orb!"
