DeBordieu-Endless Fun

We spent the last week in "The Dew" whoopin it up with the Hraba, Mahoney and Egan families. Tommy and Heidi basked in the attention of adults and kids alike. It was ten days of party for all involved. Tommy enjoyed every second of every day and was such a good boy the entire time. Heidi took a couple of days to adjust but having said that the reason she ended up being fussy is b/c she got her first tooth! It was an awesome week for everyone:)

Heidi melted many hearts including Mr. Eric Egan.

Tommy enjoyed his time with his big brother.

Still enjoying enjoying funny faces.

Mikala Mahoney loved both Tommy and Heidi and took some time out to feed the mouse.

Heidi is already learning how to "pull daddys finger."

We made a trip to the Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach while Heidi stayed back with Mrs. Mahoney and rested. All the kids had a blast riding the rides and eating the junk food. Tommy rode his first rollercoaster. It was a treat for all of us to watch. We bought the picture from the ride which I will scan and share at a later time.

Tommy charmed the ladies as usual and was able to get a squeeze out of the lady soldier.

Clownin around!

Ahh the rollercoaster and front seat no less! Our lil dare devil no less!

Riding high and happy with his big bro!

We tested out the underwater feature of our camera. Tommy thought it was super cool. Tommy is also swimming like a champ, even more so than he did last summer. It is fun to watch his progression.

The mouse is sitting up quite well by herself now and has been for a while. I just couldn't catch her smile b/c if I get her too excited she throws her arms up in the air then falls backwards. She is already, a charm, a flirt and a ham!

Flirting with Colton Egan. Colton was awesome with her and made her smile a lot.

It was the last day and the families were off for some putt putt. Fred and I took turns with the Bjorn while golfing. It is tougher than you think! Both kids enjoyed the outdoors. Please love the matching shirts, b/c God they make me smile!!!

This video encompasses Tommy's whole week. The kid was on high energy the whole time. He made us laugh out loud many times. He is a joy. They both are. We are blessed and happy that we can share our memories with all of you.
This video is TOmmy on one cookie-watch out.

Endless afternoons of fun and sun

Tommy and Heidi have been super active little ones these last few weeks. Having their cousin Samantha around has been a joy for them, however she did leave yesterday and Tommy came out of school today and asked me where Sam was. I told him that she had to go home to be with her family and he responded with, "I miss her." It was a great three weeks with her, as I said, we miss her already.
So last weekend we went to Tommy's friend Sophia's 3rd birthday party. Fortunately, it was at a place where we could bring out boat so we were off like a heard of turtles to a pool party. Tommy is really into driving anything. Cars, golf carts, boats what have you, lets remember these pieces of machinerty all being adult size, not T-pants size. He is such a little boy:) Might I add that Tommy has developed a new love for Coldplay and asks me to play Viva La Vida over and over again, I happily oblige.

Tommy was sure to get front and center for the cutting of the cake. He couldn't wait to dig in to the Princess castle. He did let me know that the cake was for girls but he was still going to eat some. Miss Heidi Mouse just sat back and watched the chaos of the kids and smiled, per the usual. She continues to get a little more expressive with each passing day. She giggles at the dog and peek-a-boo and the ever exciting "Yeah Heidi," she is a dream:)

Clearly exhausted from an afternoon in the sun the mouse racked out and drooled on my shoulder, the best kind of drool might I add.
Sunday afternoon the Aunt Frances crew came down to reclaim their sister. Everyone was excited to reunite, and Tommy was jazzed to have his cousins to play with. They stayed up until 10 watching Bee Movie and wow was Tommy a joy the next day b/c of that-NOT.
Monday was a day at the beach. The boys were not on their A game as they were under rested and over played.
Cohlton however was quite happy to be soaking in all of the fun.
Aunt Franny pants stayed under the umbrella with her double don't talk to me attire on. Heidi was happy to join her. We have found that the mouse is not all that fond of the beach, especially the sand so it makes for difficulties while trying to build castles and dig ditches.
We decided to go out and grab some grub, below me actually clean and Heidi looking like a precious little sunflower.

The two gorgeous cousins:)

We are off to DeBordieu for another week so we will have all sorts of fantastic shots of the kids from our continued hedonistic summer.

HAPPY FOURTH!!!

Hello All!!! We have been busy here at the Egerer house playing with cousins and friends alike. Heidi and Tommy had a great fourth of July with the Pettit-O'Neill, Greeley peeps. Cousins Sami is in town for the next three weeks and Tommy is thoroughly enjoying his time playing with her. As we speak he is sitting on the sofa with her singing the Thomas song which she has so kindly learned for her younger cousin. Now he is asking her to play duck duck goose. Such fun!
Our food battles with both of our children continue. Heidi is not taking to baby foods, and that is not for a lack fof trying. I will say that Tommy ate sushi yesterday so things are definitely looking up:)

Aunt Dirty (Katie) bought this Hawaiian shirt for Tommy and fortunately I was able to find a matching dress for Heidi to wear. My little island children.

we picked Tommy up from school on Thursday and he was proudly wearing his art project for the day. He also made a patriotic windsock which hangs in the kitchen.
Jim, Declan, Daddy and Tommy had an awesome time in the pool, floating, kicking, playing keg rodeo and just enjoying the splendors of summer and retreat!

The Pettit clan. Loved this photo and wanted to share with all:)
Mommy was breaking out the pool floor routines in mid afternoon and Tommy thought he would join in on the fun. Teaching em young!

Te Te Gre Gre was in town for some play time as well. We have missed her and were happy that she and London and France could come and have some time in VA Beach.
Sami caught the prize winning catfish for the weekend, 22inches. Notice the sock on the hand. She wouldn't touch the fish...
Tommy is still totally in to making his goofy faces.
We all went out to lunch, where Tommy ate his sushi and the Pettit parents chased after their little Declan. It was chaos, but that is what makes it sooo fun!
Heidi had had enough. A Princess in the making!

Te Te wrapped Heidi up in this blanket and referred to as Heidi Buritto. Good funnies and lots of laughs with all of our wonderful friends. We are so thankful we have them in our lives:)
