BIg Boy Bed

We set up Tommy's big boy bed last night, (I didn't get around to taking pictures as I said I was tired). Anyway, he LOVED it! We got smart and put a little tent on the top so he wouldn't climb out of it a thousand times before he actually decided he was tired and it was time to go to bed. I just put him down for his nap and he was equally as excited to get back in the bed as he was last night. This is a good thing! He still isn't quite climbing under the covers but I think that will take a while. I am not going to push anything, I feel thankful that he is transitioned this easily so far.

And finally the zip up. He loves it!!! Whatever works right!!!

Good Times

Tommy and I went to the beach the other day with our friends the Ricciardella's and got to enjoy some amazing weather. Tommy and his buddy Sam played in the sand happily for about an hour when we started to notice a little sun burn on both boys so we motored out of there. Gigi's arrival was so to follow our afternoon at the beach. All in all is was a fun busy weekend. He also transferred to his big boy bed last night but I will too tired to take pictures so I will do that tonight. I will tell you that he was quite excited about it, good thing for us!

After an evening of tater tots and burgers we went over to the local ice cream shop and Tommy got his kiddie sized cone. He was elated! We also paid for the sugar two hours later. He was en fuego!!!

Now that is one happy baby boy!!!

Happy St. PAtty's Day!

The Ben Heim family came in town for the St Patty's day weekend. Ben and Robin came in tow with both Paige and Mac. Tommy could not have been more excited to see his cousins. Ben and Mac were both known by their true monikers but Paige was known as Geeg and Robin Bobin, all very cute indeed. We were all very active all weekend and sufficiently tired at weekends end. It was awesome having them in town, I just wish we were closer so we could play more! They went and saw fighter Jets or more poignantly put by Mac, the Pirate Plane! They fished!
And fished some more.Aunt Robin read Thomas the train over and over again! They ran half marathons in ridiculous gear! They ate Krispy Kreme's.They read books. They played games on the laptop. Next it was a family outing to the park, dog and all. The kids had fun running around, just being kids. Here Tommy is yelling his favorite phrase, "Oh Toodles," from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. All in all it was a great weekend:)

Tommy's Working the Big Rig

So we are completely clearing out the front beds of our home b/c our landscaping was nasty. We are doing this all with the help of our neighbor who also conveniently owns a commercial landscape company. He came over tonight with his back-hoe and told Tommy to hop on. That boy was so excited I thought he was going to pop! It is difficult to see his elation in a majority of these photos as he is very intent on the task at hand. It was fun to watch him:)

The scary thing is that Mark really let him steer the wheel. He had more faith in him than I did. Tommy actually didn't do too bad. All under supervision of course!!!

Tommy Hanging around

Nothing really to say about the below posts. I was just enjoying taking pictures of our cutie. One very huge step is that he is now finally saying his name. He was referring to himself from everything to "Choo Choos's" to "Sam." He now speaks his name proudly and we certainly are proud of him:)

Daddy was hanging out on the bench in the living room checking out the front lawn so Tommy decided to go and join him.

Hi My name is Forrest, Forrest Gump.

Happy Birthday weekend with Aunt Frances in Maryland

Well it was another fun filled, energy packed overnight with the Frances Young family. Tommy of course had all the fun he could possibly want. He played with Cohlton and Walker and danced with Susan and Samantha. It was quite the show!

Tommy had spilled water all over his pants so we de-pants him and he danced in full force to Life is a highway, a.k.a. the "cars musikkk!" It is amazing watching the fast little feet.
His was enjoying some play time with cousin Sucee.
Sam stole him for a kodak moment. She never misses and opportunity for a camera flash. Tommy at this point could care less. He says cheese then looks the other way!
It was a picnic on the porch with friends and family the night of Aunt Franny pants' birthday.

Couldn't miss an opportunity to take a picture of the grand master Geeg and some of her many grand-boys.

Tommy and Walker enjoying tubby time with the new girl in town, Walkers friend Sophia.
Finally the morning of departure TOmmy sat with Susan and ate a "muffie."
