Happy Halloween from Yoda Egerer

It was a big night for Tommy and Daddy. They were off trick or treating while mommy was teaching pilates, (working to feed the family)! Below Tommy shows his impatience; he eagerly awaits the nights events! And we are off! Daddy said that once he hit the first stop it was running the rest of the way. It got to the point where his "melmo" bucket was so heavy that he couldn't carry it anymore!
Boy is on a mission!
There is so much that he doesn't even know what to pick!
He went with the Dots.
Here enjoying the fruits of his labor! Oh what fun spreading out the nights loot!
Mommy was excited to come home and have Yoda Egerer come running out the front door yelling "mommy!"
Tommy and daddy at the successful evenings end:)

The future phantom dumper

We took some time this morning to try the potty for a while. We sat and read THomas the Train and talked about pooping, a common conversation in the Egerer household. Tommy was very patient and quite happy to be in the buff on the big boy potty. We had no luck but no sooner did I get him dressed and ready to go than he went in his pants. If nothing else it makes for cute pictures. We'll try again tomorrow.

Weekend at the Naughton's

The Egerer family was off to Apollo Beach, FL this past weekend visiting Karianne and Tom Naughton. We all had a great time. Both Tommy and daddy played their hearts out!!! Between playing with his friends, going to the park and the plane rides Tommy had an overload of fun:) Tommy, Jack and Eli spent quite a lot of time up in the playroom playing trains and being boys.
This below sequence features the boys running around the kitchen in circles screaming at the tops of their lungs! Notice Tommy in sunglasses, inside...
Here Eli screeching! Tommy screeching!

Weekend at Naughton's

The boys spent quite a bit of time running around the house squealing and chasing each other. I think they all really enjoyed each others company. All the boys got a special treat and went to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Fl. On the way to the park they watched "Scooby Doo," or as Tommy would ooby doooo.
Here we are jumping on the massive play park for little ones and big ones accompanied only by kids:)
There was a massive matress jump pen that Tommy couldn't quite stand up on and every time he tried he fell back down.

Tommy and daddy had a great time flying on the green dragon that daddy barely fit in!

Tommy and I had a good time on the dragon egg going around in circles.

Weekend at the Naughtons

Here are Tommy and Eli on the car ride. The boys were so excited about driving their car they didn't want to get out. Notice how intent Tommy is on the task at hand. I didn't take any pictures of the tantrum that he threw when we attempted to take him out of the car! I don't really take pictures of animals but we were all enthralled with these tigers. The one pictured reminded me of Winston!
If you look closely you can see a bright yellow shirt on the far right front car. That is Fred riding with Tom N. enjoying some adult fun! I got to ride as well and screamed the whole way. It was all the fun I needed for the whole weekend, I loved it!
Worn out from the excessive amounts of fun Tommy unusually passes out in his stroller catching some zzz's!
As if the boys hadn't had enough fun they got lollipop treats after the park that they enjoyed in the backyard at Tom and Karianne's. Jack loved his, ELi wore his and Tommy banged his on the concrete!!!

Time to catch up

Our computer has been out of commission for quite some time now so I haven't been doing Tommy's blog so for that I am sorry for however I am not sorry for the many hours of my life that I saved by not stressing out about uploading a photo. So we are going to have a couple of posts. Below Tommy enjoys a good welcome home kiss from Daddy when he gtot home from work.

Tommy is checking out the t.v. which he affectionately refers to as the choo choo b/c he always wants to watch Thomas the Train:)

Proven here where he pushes his "choo choo's" around!

Big Weekend with Uncle Ott

Tommy had a big weekend with his "Uncle Ott" who is now affectionately referred to as Skuu. We are working on the full name but it is not going all that well. We are thinking that if he puts the two together then he might be right on target. We went to the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival which is also referred to as the Take back the beach festival by the locals. It was great people watching and Tommy got to go on a Carousel ride. He couldn't wait to get on a ride. See below.
Anxiously awaiting...
He finally got on the horse and the interest lasted about thirty seconds and he was ready to get off!
Today was boat day. We enjoyed the calm of the open water and the quiet of the early fall breeze. It was a really great afternoon.

Tommy absolutely loved steering the wheel but Dear God don't take him away from the task at hand b/c he doesn't like not being in control.
Here Captain John Thomas Egerer II, taking his job very seriously.
The end of the day nears and he goes to the pantry to raid the straw box and look for the "Melmo," aka Elmo string beans.
