52 Degrees and Sunny Nice in VA Beach

It is absolutely gorgeous here today so Tommy went out to ride/push his bike around. I did more of the labor than he did but I think he just enjoyed being outside. We also spent a lot of time watching Duke run after one of the neighbors dogs. Tommy kept yelling "Puppy Spot." We tell Duke to go to his spot quite a bit so Tommy has picked that frase up for his repetoire.

Here Tommy is showing concern for the two dogs chasing each other...

Sometimes Duke needs a friend too.

DC overnight

Last Friday Tommy and I road tripped to DC for an overnight to see Kara and her newborn baby blessing Joseph. We had a brief visit but it really was nice to get together. We hadn't seen Kara since Tommy was Joseph's size. We hung out at the ESPN Zone so Tommy could be entertained, and he was...
Next we strolled over to Uncle Scott's house where he was very, very busy being entertained by his Godfather. We had a nice less is more time.
Tommy also took quite an interest in playing pretend on Uncle Scott's cell phone.

After an evening of ruff-housing with Uncle Scott we ventured on to brunch the next day at one of my favorite old stomping grounds in DC, The Peacock Cafe. Tommy prooved to be his mothers son while indulging in one of my staples, ooh yea PEACOCK FRIES. Those fries Emilio, those fries!

After an eaxhausting over night stay and a busy morning Tommy racked out hard in the car on the way home to play with daddy.

Less is more weekend...

It was a less is more weekend at the Egerer's, one of the few that we weren't actually traveling or comitted to something. We stayed in and watched movies this weekend but decided to get out this afternoon and have a picnic on the chilly, windy beach in 34 degree weather. It was nice to be outside and be together. Tommy threw the ball to Duke and ran around busily occassionally tossing himself down into the sand. It was fun!

Tommy wanted to hang out with Mommy and neighbor Belinda while we registered for baby gear for Belinda. He wanted to wear his stickers so I he did. All over...

Super Bowl Sunday

Tommy and his friends Sam and Sofia all had a blast running around the house and having free reign of everything. Let me tell you it was not easy getting the "punk," "clown," and little cutie poops all to sit down at the same time for a photo op, much less actually look at the camera at the same time.

Since Tommy's most recent victory he thought it important to show his cohorts the ABC's of flushing. I think Tommy racked up our months water bill in the matter of five minutes with the amount of flushing that he did. He was leading the troops in proud Marine form. Ooh Rah!

"Mis" and "Chieviousness" were at it in the cupcakes, chips and obscene amount of junk food and loving every second of it! It was a cornucopia of crap.

VICTORY TOMMY POOPED IN THE POTTY!!!

The other night Fred had Tommy while I went and got a massage. He fed him dinner and noticed him lurking suspiciously so he put him on the potty. I got home just in time to witness the victory. Fred's comment, "I actually accomplished something today." Tommy sat patiently while daddy read him Hooper Humperdink, Not him!!! A caucophonous cheer erupted in the downstairs upon first plop. Tommy elated by our cheers joined in on the momentous occasion. It was a GREAT night at the Egerer house. Note we haven't had the same success in following days but we are hopeful and remain diligent in our quest for crapless pant. we hope this is not a fluke...
Fred hears the splash and it is happy cheers from all ends!!!

We made it a point to show Tommy what it was that he had done and that is what one does in a toilet. He flushed too but I didn't capture that one on film!
Here going for a victory poop snack. He was sooo pleased with himself we couldn't get his diaper back on him. Also, notice the red bottom from sitting on the plastic toilet seat for extended periods of time!
