DeBordieu and State College all in one fell swoop WOA...

It was some nice vacation time for the Egerer family this past week and a half. Tommy got to spend some more QT with his buddies Jack and Eli Naughton. The first day they got down South it was a heavy rain so we spent the afternoon playing Wii Fit. Tommy loved and and as soon as someone was done he always wanted the next turn. It was good fun for a rainy day.
Jack, Tommy and Eli, in that order played in the hot tub for quite a while, while parents watched and smiled at the boys enjoyment. They played really well together the whole time. Tommy was just thrilled to have constant buddies. Tommy did everything that Jack did and Jack loved it!
Heidi just smiled and snorted the whole time!

We had a couple really nice afternoons of pool and beach with the kids. Tommy took a little while to warm up to his swimming but once he did he was great. Heidi LOVES the pool and spent quite a while in there with me being naturally bouyant!

Tommy is in the arms of the Naughton's au pair Beta. Tommy adored Beta and played with her the a lot.

Tommy exhausted after many hours of play in the piscina!

Over indulged on every level Tommy brought out the tantrum. It was time for a nap. I told him I wanted to take some pictures of him and this is what I get. Love the terrible threes!
Tommy and Jack got matching DeBOrdieu hats which they both proudly adorned post purchase. Tommy also got to watch Speed racer videos with the boys that he has continued to ask for since we left the house.
And off for a short 12 hour car ride back to State College for the Second Mile Golf Classic Tournament. Heidi got to spend some time with her Ben Heim cousins. She and Sheppy Joe get along famously! Our two chubby babies!

Sweet Paige with her baby brother and cousin:)
Thank you Aunt Robin for this shot and many other greats!

Tommy enjoying Gigi and Pop's newly heated pool! He didn't like the excessive amounts of chlorine in his eyes but he had lots of fun playing nonetheless.
A rare shot with Gigi.

90 Degrees + and still smiling:)

Hello All! It has been a little while since our last post so we have a little to share. Both Fred and Tommy got new bikes, (Fred's early fathers day gift and Tommy b/c he has grown out of his tricycle). We got the tandem extender for T-pants and as you can see therer is great enjoyment for the boy and for Daddy as well. We have the seat set up for Heidi as well but we are missing a strap but we thought we would test out the seat just for fun. She obviously didn't mind it all too much or maybe she is just like me and doesn't miss the opportunity to pose for the camera!
Kids in hats. Tommy in the ball cap Heidi in the babushka! Doesn't every girl need one?
This picture cracked me up. Tommy no longer has the nice natural smile for the camera so it is always the uber cheeser and Heidi looks like a deer caught in headlights. God they are cute!

Gigi rolled in to town for a quick visit. Tommy would wake up unusually early go down and climb in bed with her and play trains and sing the Thomas song, which by the way he has declared as his "favorite song." We went to the beach, golfed, played and spent a lot of time out by the pool in the wicked hot weather. It was awesome having her here and of course time went by way too quickly. Tommy cried when she left, she did too!!!
Heidi's inaugural swim. It didn't go that well. The water is a little chilly still so I think we may have a princess on our hands!

The mouse lounged next to the pool in her swing for a good solid hour. she loves being outside and she loves to observe. She is very in to grabbing her feet now and sucking her toes...
Tommy got a hold of my new sunglasses.
The money shot.

Tommy and Duke kept eachother occupied for a good portion of the afternoon. Tommy was also in to spraying Duke with his squirt gun. Tommy got the good belly laugh when he would suqirt and Duke would run. Quite cute if you ask me.

The mouse enjoyed her pool side gourmet meal of peas. Ah what a life!
