Memorial Day Weekend

Let me just start this entry by saying Tommy, Heidi, Fred and Janet were overserved this weekend in more ways than one. We are all still recovering from excessive amounts of fun! Tommy kicked off his Friday night with a fashion show of Heidi's hat and his cheeser grin, telling me I funny mom. Let me just preface the next day with the fact that Tommy stayed up until ten playing with Sam and Luke Ricciardella. He works Saturda with no nap. Wow...
It was our next door neighbors first birthday. Gabrielle got her first taste of being chauffeured by the good looking one. She already has a bit of a crush on T-Pants.
This picture makes me laugh. Gabrielle looks like and angry wife telling her husband what to do, Tommy ever the pleaser just smiles and says yes honey, whatever you say!
Kelli, (or as Tommy affectionately calls her Chellie), held Heidi for the first time as she doesn't do baby babies. She loved every ounce of Heidi and her chub, how can you not!

Tigger was the main attraction. Tommy was a little confused b/c Tigger was walking. He said Tigger is supposed to bounce, so first we see Tigger...
...then we see Tommy showing us how it is really done...Boing, boing, boing!
Tommy at this point is un-napped and poorly hydrated and oh yes the cupcakes were strawberry so that put him in a foul mood. Below, me, trying to attempt the picture. Tommy gives us this...
Heidi always the happy one! This, let me mention is the next day so kids are a little better rested.

The Naughton family is in VA Beach for the next 6 weeks while Uncle Tom goes to school so Tommy got reunited with his buddies Jack and Eli and made a new friend Jordan. We attempted a picture of all four, hmm not so much. Bubble wands were far more excited than moms taking pics...
Heidi had her own dose of fun and then passed out in Miss Mickeys arms. She knew she was in good hands:)
And this last photo sums it up. TOO MUCH FUN. BTW, I put Tommy to bed that night at 7:15 and he didn't get up until 8:30 the next morning. Like I said, we were all overserved!!!

Oh and yes, that is a pink Tutu suit:)

Strawberry Picking

Last Tuesday we went Strawberry picking with the Ricciardella boys. It wasn't all the fun that we had hoped, it was after a rain and muddy so we made the best of it and got some good smiles. Tommy and daddy made some smoothies this weekend with the goods.

Wine Festival

It was a wine festival weekend with the Destefano's, Ricciardella's, Hayes and Egerer families. (There was another family there but I can't remember their last names). Anyway, we all picnicked out on the lawn of 24th street right off of the ocean front and tasted wines from all over the world. It was a beautiful day and both parents and kids enjoyed themselves immensly. Heidi didn't make these photos as she spent most of her time either racked out in her car seat, (thank you Heidi) or in her backpack under a shade. She was ultra cooperative which made the day super great for us!
Miss Amy with her boy Sam, (a frequenter of this blog) and our boy whippin out the cheeser!
Just thought I would take some pictures of the two of the kids together. It was highly unsuccessful as they never seem to smile at the same time or look into the camera and smile at the same time, I did my best!

Have a great week:)

State College WAS A BLAST JUST HAVE A LOOK SEE

Greetings all. We are seriously exhausted after a super fun weekend at Gigi and Pop's house and the 9 hour drive home in the tornado yesterday. Both Tommy and Heidi had a blast. Tommy spent the majority of his time with his cousins running and playing. Heidi got passed from arm to arm and cuddled adoringly. The first morning in town and already having fun!
Gigi, Pops and I went for a game of golf while daddy babysat. Tommy was happy to have us all home!
This is peanut butter face. Tommy is obsessed with PB and loves licking it off of his sandwich crackers what have you...
We were off to UNcle Johns for a bbq so Tommy got some more QT with the cousins.

A rare shots, me and my gal Miss Mouse.
Heidi and Shepard were absolutely adorable together. Shep didn't quite know what to think of Heidi and likewise. Notice Sheppie's arm around the girl!
Love the cheeser!

Pops and his newest but not final grandbabies!
Self explanatory:)
Kids were making funny faces for me. I loved it!

Playing with the rock em sock em bopper. They had an awesome time!

At the weekends end Tommy passed out with his headphones on and threw the blanket over his head. He had had enough!

Uncle John visits

It was a big Harley filled weekend here at the Egerer house. Uncle John and his friend Megan came in to town for some sun and fun. It was a beautiful weekend and we all had a great time. Sunday has been our recovery day! Tommy loved playing with his Unlce John. He chased him, played tee ball and golf with him and he even got a little hugs in between all of that. Heidi just watched the chaos while she bounced in her jumper!
Uncle John came in from his restful but short nights slumber to tigger ready to bounce. So much for relaxation!

This picture is proof that there is some Heim in Tommy somewhere. I see a little resemblance? Maybe? Or maybe I just need to accept that Tommy is Freds clone.
I went for a run and on my way back I saw this tiny baby turtle in the street. I immediately knew that Tommy would love to see it so I brought him out back to meet the fam! Tommy has proclaimed that sea turtles are his favorite ocean life so I knew he would like this little guy. I asked him what he wanted to name his new friend and he said Turtle. So pictured below is "Turtle" the turtle. Creative.
Tommy touching "Turtle," who by the way Tommy said was his best friend:) Tommy's new thing is best friends, and the list includes, Mommy, Daddy, Heidi, Gigi, Sam R. and now Turtle!
Absolutely enamored!
Turtle wanted to go for a swim so that was our farewell. Tommy laid over the deck for a while waiting for his new best friend to return...
Fred and I look totally normal and both of our kids look constipated, I think this is the beginning of the Egerer family album of ridiculousness...

Tommy wanted to wear Heidi's sunglasses b/c he thought they were funny. Whatever works for you dude...
And the mouse is out. Exhausted from a day of fun and sun.
Until the the next time, Peace out...
