Happy Halloween and More

Oh what a day for the little big man. Tommy had "My Gym," napped in mommy and daddy's bed and then decorated some cupcakes a la T-Pants, all that and he got to go Trick-or Treating too!
The neighborhood kids started to congregate around our house early in the evening so we hurried to get Tommy ready so we could get some pictures. Tommy was not interested in photo time, he was all about getting candy. In fact the majority of the evening was spent hearing, "I need more candy." Sure you do Tommy, especially if you take after your mommy! Below pictured with our neighbor Joey and Belindas daughter, Gabrielle.
On our other side is the Lee's household where Madison scurried along side Tommy so I could get a shot in!
Those rosey red cheeks got all over every one and every thing as the night went on. Neighbor Margie got a kiss and a nice dollop of red paint on her face to go along with it. Margie in turn gave Tommy a skeleton flashlight which quickly broke b/c he was swinging it around so much he was so excited, and for three houses there after instead of saying Trick-or-Treat, it was "I need batteries, flashlight broken!"

Smiling with his buddy Josh.
Enough pictures mommy, I NEED CANDY! Look at this kid go!
We finally got home and had to wash the face. I took the opportunity to get a few more pictures in so we could all enjoy his cuteness!
Ah, the beloved skeleton flashlight. I told you he liked it!!!
His buddy Sam came by for some late night play time and to share stories of the evenings events.
Ah look, three pumpkins and Thomas the train!
Just some shots taken over the last few days that I have been trying to post but haven't been able to. It was chilly here the other morning so Tommy and I went out to enjoy the brisk autumn air and a nice bike ride:)
Duke came out to play too!
Struggling to get the shoes off.

Pumpkin Patch and more

Lets just start by saying I hate this tupid blog site, thus explaining why all of the pictures are out of order... Anyway, Tommy got some new lite up glasses that he likes to refer to as his goggles, I call them cheap crap. They break every three seconds at which point he asks me to "fixkit." How can you say no seeing what kind of reaction these stupid things bring about!!! Tommy was hard at work pulling the wagon b/c he couldn't climb in it. (There was a disclosure in the cart that said no children allowed, I thought that was stupid). Anyway, he was proud of his loot and wanted to pull his choices himself.

He made his choice and quickly told me that it was too heavy and he needed help. Happy to oblige son!

This is his interpretation of "CHEESERS!"
Aw, the "goggles" again.

We were in the dew two weeks ago with the Gates family. Tommy enjoyed his time with baby Nick a little more this time as Nick is walking. Tommy asked Nick to chase him, not quite getting that Nick doesn't quite get it!!!

Sandman Festival

This past weekend was the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival and Sandman Triathlon, (which by the way I ran 7 years ago, would have been nice to do again but my bike and body are out of commission). Anyway, we went down to the boardwalk for some people watching and some pretty cool sandcastles. Tommy went straight for the mini carnival set up along the boardwalk. He went right for the front car on the train and got to toot the whistle too. It was cute to watch.

Next was over to the Ferris Wheel which he specifically asked for. I am not too sure when he learned the name of a Ferris Wheel or where he learned the name for that matter but this child is certainly fearless. He enjoyed the ride with his daddy b/c my big ole belly didn't fit in the cart. Fred was also nice enough to let this little boy ride along with him while his daddy waited with his tiny daughter.

A quick wave to mom.

Freds' Uncles Ed and Aunt Nancy were in town for the weekend as well and Tommy hopped on Uncle Eds lap for some quiet time while watching "Cars."
